In 2011, Lars van Galen (1978) received one prestigious prize and award after the other, including a Prix Taittinger Benelux, the Prix Taittinger Culinaire International. But perhaps the most rewarding title for this SVH Master Chef was becoming the patron cuisinier of Hotel & Restaurant ‘t Lansink in Hengelo in 2012. After receiving a Michelin star in 2013, Lars opened two more restaurants in the Twente countryside, including Ledeboer, which received a Bib Gourmand within six months.
